Is Groundschool free?
Yes — Groundschool is free to download and study the full question bank. Any optional extras are shown clearly inside the app.
How does spaced repetition work?
Groundschool uses the SM-2 algorithm. Each time you answer, it reschedules that question: things you know come back later, things you miss come back sooner — so you spend time where it counts.
How do I sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac?
Turn on iCloud for Groundschool in your iOS/macOS settings. Your progress then syncs automatically through your private iCloud account. Make sure each device is signed in to the same Apple ID.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Groundschool is offline-first — study with no connection and it syncs the moment you’re back online.
Which languages are supported?
The full question bank and interface are available in English and Russian.
How do I reset my progress?
Open Settings inside the app and choose Reset progress. This clears your stats on the device; if iCloud is on, the change syncs to your other devices.
